Gianni Calogiuri's family has produced their Vincotto Originale "cooked wine" from locally grown Negroamaro and Malvasia Negra grapes in Puglia, Italy since 1825. The juice of the old vine grapes is aged for four years in oak barrels to produce this "exceptionally organoleptic" vinegar.
The Orange Vincotto is a versatile dressing. It can be used as a condiment that will enhance the flavor of roasted meats, game, fruit salads, ice cream, panna cotta, zabaglione, chocolate, and cocktails.
No added preservatives, alcohol, coloring, or sugar.
