Created by one of our own, Jennifer prepares these fun little fondue bowls a few times a week with our classic fondue cheeses (Apenzeller, Gruyère, and Ementaler), in a fresh mini-boule. A wonderfully crusty French roll rubbed with garlic and filled with a signature blend of Swiss cheeses sprinkled with white wine and dusted with a hint of Herbs de Provence. Pair with a glass of wine and some seasonal fresh fruits…or a smattering of your favorite cured meats and olives…or a mixture of dried fruits and nuts…Toast it up in the oven, and you have your own mini-fondue without a big production. Summer's best grilled cheese, without the grill.
1. Preheat oven to 425° and position rack in center of oven.
2. Remove plastic from bread bowl and place on un-greased cookie sheet
or pan. Bake on center rack for 20 min. (25-30 if frozen)
