Domaine Robert Chevillon
Bourgogne Passetoutgrains is the mixing of two varietals (Pinot Noir and Gamay) and is a bit rare as many producers do not make or import one. Red Burgundy, under most circumstances, is made from 100% Pinot Noir. This is an exception. The wines are fun and fruity upfront and at a value price point. You could drink one for dinner and not feel guilty about it.
The Domaine Robert Chevillon produces excellent wines and has been doing so for years. Its always exciting for me to drink the inexpensive wines of great producers – since they age and mature faster, you get a sense of their style with less of an investment and you get a feel for what the vintage will become.
Drink this wine with a hearty fall meal, turkey and gravy perhaps!

Livarot is a wonderful traditional cheese from the Normandy area of France. It’s a washed rind and can be quite pungent yet sweet from the richness of the milk. Livarot can be identified by the layers of reedmace (a flowering wetlands plant) that is stripped and wrapped around the sides of the cheese. Livarot was given government protection for area of production (AOC) in 1975. This classic goes great with white and red burgundy and hard ciders.
