As I mentioned last week, I love Rosé and it is officially that time of year! Rosé is perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all times in between. Triennes is a blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache and merlot grapes. This wine is perfectly balanced, high in acid but plenty of fruit as well.
The price is a steal and who could resist a pink wine that has a flying pig on its label? Oh, and by the way, its made in a partnership with the owners of Domaines Dujac and Romanée Conti - two of the biggest names in the wine world!
Try it with grilled scallops or a little cheese this week.
Brebisrousse is a definite favorite of mine. It hails from the hillsides outside of Lyon and is wonderfully milky with the sweetness that comes with sheep’s milk. This cheese is perfect for high acid white wine and Rosé.
