GoGi (his nickname) is the passion project of actor Kurt Russell. He makes this fabulous wine in homage to his beautiful long time partner, Goldie Hawn. This wine, much like its muse, is naturally beautiful, sexy, and fun. The wine is created by the wonderful folks at Ampelos Cellars that I've featured in the past, and Kurt is their apprentice in wine making. He is very capable and knowledgable, and does the work for his wine all on his own.
He makes the wine in a style that he likes to drink: rich, luscious, buttery and smooth. It is a fantastic bigger style of Chardonnay wine. Even with all the creaminess, the wine is balanced, with a modest alcohol of 13.5%
